Dear Colleague:

I am continuously inundated with professional mail, some wanted, some unwanted and some I wish I got but did not. If your experience is similar to mine, then you also miss out on interesting and important information that is relevant to your work. The inevitable effect of downsizing or rightsizing is an increase of workload for the few who remain. As a result, we need to become more efficient in our ability to keep up to date with new information and knowledge.

The Internet is a source of information but requires a considerable time to "surf" and hunt for the required data. I would like to take advantage of the information highway's ability to deliver information to the desktop and streamline info retrieval as far as possible.

I am in the process of setting up this home-page and hope to create a resource for the lab professional. Hopefully if successful, relevant information can be made available and delivered to the desktop, if so requested.

In deciding what is "relevant" I need some help. May I request you to fill in the questionnaire I have below. Once I have this information I will try to create the appropriate links and hopefully get the diagnostic industry to participate.

An ambitious project - you bet. Exciting - very.
